I learnt something from my morning jog today.

Think of your walk with God as your first jog. It is tiring, it wears you out, it leaves you breathless, it makes you feel like dropping dead on the floor. But if you do give up at that very moment, how can you ever experience the sweetness of completing the jog? The taste of success?

True enough, when I was jogging just now, I wanted to give up so much after completing half of the distance. But then, I thought to myself, "Shouldn't I finish the run to gain that sense of satisfaction?" It was really dumb if I had given up at that moment.

Same goes to our walk with God. It is tough, temptations keep coming our way, persecution scares us. But if we just give up at that point of time, what would we get in the end? All the while, all the hard work, perseverance, would all be wasted. Do we want to let a temporary mean of peace from torture stop us from running all the way to the end point?

Well, although I'm scared (extremely), but I don't.
